Soundcore Motion 300 Speaker — Common Mistakes & How to Prevent Damage
The Soundcore Motion 300 is a compact Bluetooth speaker with impressive bass and clear sound. However, many users unknowingly damage their device due to one simple mistake. At Nationtek, we’ve recently repaired multiple Motion 300 units with the same issue — and it’s easily preventable.
Why the Motion 300 Is Sensitive to Airflow
Inside the Motion 300 is a rear air vent that releases air pressure during bass output. This vent is part of the speaker’s design and allows the internal driver to move freely without tearing.
When the vent is blocked, the trapped pressure can damage the internal speaker cone, causing sound distortion or rattling noises.
The Most Common User Mistake
Most users place their Motion 300 on:
-
Beds
-
Sofas
-
Cushions
-
Blankets
-
Car dashboards
-
Bags or clothing
These soft surfaces easily block the rear vent. Over time, this leads to:
-
Torn speaker cone
-
Weak or distorted bass
-
Vibrating or rattling sounds
-
Reduced clarity and volume
We recently repaired a Motion 300 unit where the internal speaker had torn due to blocked airflow. After the repair, the performance returned to normal — but the damage could have been avoided.
